Screen resolution setting of your monitor

Monitor’s screen resolution is measured in terms of Pixel(Picture-Element). Each and every picture displayed on computer screen is made up of small dots called pixel. Resolution is measured as number of pixels in width x height. More screen resolution gives more clarity in picture.

Setting monitor screen resolution: 

1. Right click on Desktop and select Properties. (in Window OS)

2. Here you can increase or decrease your monitor’s screen resolution properties.

3. Preferable screen resolution are:
     800 x 600    ( Good for old monitor )
   1024 x 768    ( Normal monitor )
   1152 x 864    ( Normal monitor )
   1280 x 600
   1280 x 720    ( Normal monitor )
   1280 x 768    ( Normal monitor )
   1280 x 960    ( Normal monitor )
   1280 x 1024  ( Wider size monitor )
   1400 x 1050  ( Wider size monitor )
   1440 x 900    ( Wider size monitor )

Greater screen resolution put extra burden on CPU hence it slow down computer.
