Don’t Be A Weight Loss Enthusiast

Don’t be a weight loss enthusiast. Do you follow the newest fad diets or buy next great infomercial pill, potion or product?
Weight loss doesn’t have to be so hard, but if you make the following mistakes then it will be.
What should I know to avoid mistakes?
Well, you need to learn what silly things others or doing so that you can understand what really works and what doesn’t, but most of all you can learn from their slip-ups.

Some of the ridiculous things weight loss enthusiasts commonly believe are:

Carbohydrates are bad and will make you fat

Carbohydrates aren’t all bad, it’s just that some of the High G.I ones are bad, but you shouldn’t judge the good ones by the bad ones. Low G.I carbs are great sources of fiber and energy – and they won’t make you fat. Only Higher G.I foods like sugar, white flour and refined products raise your blood sugar and can make you store fat.

Fats are bad for you

Good fats are essential for our health. Trans and saturated fats are really awful, but omega 6 and omega3’s especially are positively excellent. Foods that contain good fats include. Walnuts, Olives, Peanuts, Salmon, Avocados and Sardines. Eat plentiful amounts of these fatty foods and you will receive many health benefits including Weight Loss.

You must have fat and turn it into muscle

Who comes up with this rubbish? You can not ever turn fat into muscle, fat is not a prerequisite for muscle and it is ridiculous to assume otherwise.
Fat and Muscle are two very different things – It would be like turn an egg into an elephant.

You must not eat if you want to lose weight

Not True – you must eat to lose weight and you must eat often. Starvation is a silly thing performed by those who don’t know better, but it’s clearly a battle you can’t win – you either eat or you die.

What you should do is eat smaller frequent meals. This way you will not overeat, you never starve yourself and you will build a metabolism like a Tiger – ROAR.
Be sure to eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as lean meat and fish, these are the foods that will help you to form a sensible stable diet.
