Install new program: Many of them install one or more new separate program than the main one, which run in the backgrounds with all programs and consume the resources like space in RAM and Processor Time which in return affects the pc speed. These are unwanted programs which the system actually don't require and impart adverse affect to system health and security. Examples are: cpu speed accelerating programs, Threat detection software, download accelerating programs, games etc. These program may give some product related banner, popup and messages.

Install new plugins into other program: These programs are very notorious, it may install some new plugins into other programs which may lead to products related ads banner, popup and messages.

How to safeguard system from Spyware and Adware?

a. Use only genuine software from authenticated agencies.

b. As far as possible avoid free software which is main source.

c. While installing software programs always select custom/manual installation if option present in installation wizard menu. (Don’t go for Typical, Complete, Express or Automatic option). Select only required program out of present in custom installation.
