Some time it happen that Internal or External HDD /Media Drive indication name is not showing in explorer window. Renaming it also is not working. (It is frequent in Windows7 OS).
First: Go to > Computer Management > Disk Management window drive name not showing here means problem is in registry section. If it is so then first try for rename here then go for any further registry correction. But if drive name is ok here then follow Second step.
Second: If Drive name not showing in Explorer window.
Renaming it also not working.
• But ok in Disk Management Window.
• There must be some “autorun.inf” file present in drive. Look for the file in that drive it may be hidden due to some virus/worms, delete it. Read how to find hidden files in drive >>
